Yoghurt brand Yoplait’s distributor NFT has gone into administration with immediate effect, Better Retailing understands.
Nisa has confirmed that store deliveries have been disrupted since Tuesday 4 February as a result, affecting yoghurt ranges Yop, Petit Filous, Frubes, Peppa Pig, Wildlife, Paw Patrol and Avengers.
Nisa said it is working with the supplier and its logistics team to resolve the situation.
Yoplait is jointly owned by US-based food company General Mills.
A spokesperson for the company said: “We are working with NFT and other stakeholders to minimise the impact this will have on our operations at the Tilbury warehouse. We are fully committed to ensuring that this situation has minimal impact on NFT’s staff supporting our operation at the Tilbury site and the continuity of service to our customers and business partners.”
