Westons Cider launches largest campaign to date for Henry Westons

Campaign features posters in major UK cities and on-pack promo for One Stop and Booker stores

Westons Cider is set to launch its largest marketing campaign to date for its Henry Westons brand.

The supplier is investing £1.1m in an out-of-home investment for the £70m brand which it expects will reach more than 48 million adults across the UK.

It consists of an outdoor advertising campaign including static and motion adverts in central locations across London, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol, Cardiff and Nottingham alongside 48 and 6-sheet adverts.

These adverts will feature Henry Westons Vintage (ABV 8.2%) and Henry Westons Vintage Draught (ABV 5.2%), highlighting the versatility of the range for drinking in and out of the home.

There will also be an on-pack promotion exclusive to Tesco (including Booker and One Stop) offering shoppers the chance to win a luxury holiday to either New York, Santorini, Singapore or Iceland.

The promotion will appear on bottles of Henry Westons Vintage, Signature Vintage, Cloudy Vintage, Vintage Rosé and Organic 3l bag-in-box varieties between now and September.

The campaign marks the seventh year of increased investment in Henry Westons, which is growing year on year at 20.6%.

“Henry Westons is a star performer within the Westons Cider portfolio and continues to go from strength to strength,” said Holly Chadwick, Henry Westons brand manager at Westons Cider.

“With one bottle of Henry Westons Vintage now sold every second in retail and the successful launch of Henry Westons on draught last summer, now seems like the perfect opportunity to promote the breadth of the range to consumers.”
