With sharing bags continuing to show strong growth, Walkers is launching a new Tear ‘n’ Share range.
86% – of households buy sharing packs at least once a month
Available in 150g bags, RRP £1.99, the flavours of Tear ‘n’ Share will include Lightly Salted, Salt & Malt Vinegar, Cheddar Cheese & Onion, Sticky BBQ Ribs and Sweet Chilli.
Once opened, Tear ‘n’ Share packs can also act as a bowl, which allows consumers to share the crisps easier.
Convenience retailers will be able to stock the products from January 25.
The launch will be backed by a new TV campaign, as well as social media and in-store activity.
Thomas Barkholt, managing director at PepsiCo, said: “We know that the sharing segment is in growth, with 86% of households buying sharing packs at least once a month and by launching an innovative first for the category, we are helping drive this growth.”
