Retailers seeking to increase their price-marked pack offering can now do so with Walkers standard bags, Wotsits and Quavers in 50p PMPs.
Available until September, the seven-strong range includes Cheese & Onion, Ready Salted, Salt & Vinegar, Prawn Cocktail, Smoky Bacon, Quavers and Wotsits. PoS is also available to retailers.
Matt Goddard, field sales director at PepsiCo, said Walkers PMP crisps sell, on average, 20% faster in impulse than non-PMPs.
With the move back to 50p, the brand expects that to accelerate even further.
“One in four convenience shoppers buy crisps, snacks & nuts on impulse, so retailers should maximise these purchases through great visibility around their stores.
“More shoppers buy single serve snacks when it is merchandised front of store with juice and sandwiches,” he added.
