Unitas Wholesale chairman Mark Aylwin to step down

Unitas Wholesale chairman Mark Aylwin is to step down from the buying group in November.

Better Retailing understands Aylwin does not intend to stand in the role again when his term ends later this year, with Unitas currently seeking a replacement.

Aylwin will become the latest senior member of staff to leave Unitas in 2024, following on from the departures of commercial director Kirsty Cooper in April, and finance director Richard Bone in July.

Unitas has been approached by Better Retailing for comment.
