Unilever is getting ready for Christmas with several new products, hoping to meet demand for festive treats during the coming months.
The brand has expanded its popular range of Magnum Minis with White and White Almond flavours.
Snack-sized products are showing a 17.2% increase from last year, and this range should help boost sales even faster.
It has also launched seasonal lines, including Cinnamon Biscuit ice cream from Carte D’Or, tapping in to the trend for Christmas flavours.
More festive treats come in the form of the new Wall’s Gingerbread Sandwich – a smooth vanilla ice cream surrounded by soft gingerbread biscuits, and two new flavours for Ben & Jerry’s – Minter Wonderland and Joy to the Swirled, RRP £4.99.
“It’s easy to overlook the massive impact ice cream can have on sales throughout the colder months, but retailers shouldn’t wait for summer to prioritise their ice cream cabinets,” said Noel Clarke, brand building director for ice cream at Unilever UK and Ireland. “Now is the time to get your Wall’s freezer ready for winter.”
