Loyalty specialist Ubamarket is to launch a new service designed to increase footfall in Central Co-op stores.
Called “Offers,” the service allows suppliers to provide personalised promotions to a participating store’s customers through their mobile phone.
For example, suppliers can provide follow up offers or encourage customers to spend up based on their purchasing history. Six suppliers are involved with the service.
Ubamarket founder Will Broome told Better Retailing the service will launch in a select number of flagship Central Co-op stores as a pilot before a potential wider rollout.
