On October 4 The Sun launches Sun+ Lotto, a fantastic new edition to The Sun’s digital entertainment package available across web, smart phone and tablet devices.

Britain’s best-selling newspaper will give away £1 million exclusively to Sun+ members in October to mark the new-look National Lottery.

From this weekend Sun+ members will have a second chance to win if they miss out on the main game by entering the new Second Chance Sunday game. Second Chance Sunday allows Sun+ members to enter an exclusive draw for free using the same raffle numbers on their National Lottery ticket – with 50 guaranteed winners in October alone each scooping £20,000.

There will be a live winners announcement show on Sunday 6 October in the final ad break of The X Factor which will be hosted by The Sun FC’s Samantha Johnson. The multi-million pound marketing campaign will also see the face of Sun+ Lotto, Tommy Lottery, tour Britain in The Sun bus and meet the first lucky winners.

David Dinsmore, editor of The Sun, said: “Our loyal readers are at the heart of everything we do and 67% of Sun readers regularly play a National Lottery draw. This is why we’ve partnered with Camelot to give Sun+ members the chance to win big money with Sun+ Lotto. Our Second Chance Sunday draw is sure to be appointment viewing.”

Sally Cowdry, Camelot’s marketing director, said:  “We are delighted to be partnering with The Sun to celebrate the launch of new bigger, better Lotto. New Lotto will offer the nation more ways to win more money and it’s fantastic that Sun+ members get another opportunity to win a life-changing sum of money.”
