Nisa has assured retailers deliveries from its distribution centre were not disrupted by positive cases of the coronavirus.
This month, some employees at the DHL distribution centre in Scunthorpe had tested positive for the virus. The wholesaler stressed this did not impact deliveries, adding it was taking extra precautions with hygiene and safety at the site.
A Nisa spokesperson told RN: “Nisa has well established contingency plans in place to ensure partners do not experience any disruption as a result of staff absence at the distribution centre. As such, there was no impact felt by retailers.”
