Back for its fourth consecutive year, Mars Chocolate is boosting summer confectionery sales with its Sweet Sundays on-pack promotion.
The campaign gives customers free cinema tickets across the summer and autumn. It will run across packs of Maltesers, Revels, M&M’s Peanut, M&M’s Choco, M&M’s Crispy, Galaxy, Minstrels, Galaxy Counters and Milky Way Magic Stars.
The packs are supported by a £1.1m media spend including TV advertising and PoS. The promotion will run until October 14, and the vouchers are valid until November 1.
Consumers will receive free tickets with the purchase of a combination of sharing pouches and standard pouches and will be able to win tickets on single packs, increasing repeat purchases.
Bep Dhaliwal, trade communications manager for Mars Chocolate, said the return of Sweet Sundays is a great way to drive confectionery purchases in-store over the summer holidays and beyond.
“Consumers can either register their code online, which appears on pouches, or text for a chance to win on singles,” she added.
