Sugro is rewarding its retail club members with two initiatives that will deliver cashback and grow their business.
Cash Bonanza will offer stores cash bonuses every time they order products on the three-weekly scheme.
Philip Jenkins, Sugro managing director, said the scheme would improve distribution of popular lines, filling potential gaps in stores. “It’s about getting products on shelves because if it’s there, consumers will pick it up,” he said.
The group will also run a ‘Bonus ball’ promotion to tie in with football this summer. Open to retailers who are registered for Cash Bonanza, every time a retailer buys a deal in the promotion they will have a chance of winning a leather football and a weekend break in a European city.
Jenkins said he hoped the initiatives would drive retail club membership, which stands at 2,000. He added that the company had grown sales (excluding tobacco) by 9% in 2015.
