Spar unveils new packaging and lines for Christmas 2021 range

New products include Pigs in Blankets, Stuffing Balls, and a Brie & Cranberry Sandwich

Spar has launched its own-label Christmas range in a brand-new red livery. The symbol hopes that the pack redesign will help customers easily identify their favourite Christmas goods.

It has also added some limited-edition seasonal products alongside the returning core range.

Spar expands own-label range with new potato and fruit & veg lines

These new products include the Brie & Cranberry sandwich, which will be available from 15 November, as the symbol hopes to drive food to go sales with people travelling to see friends and family over the Christmas period. 10p from the sale of each sandwich will be donated to Marie Curie.

Other new products include Spar Pigs in Blankets and Spar Stuffing Balls, available in-store from 13 December.

Additionally, Spar’s Luxury All Butter Mince Pies will be available in a new packaging highlighting its ‘Best Classic Mince Pie’ award win for the second time at the BBC Good Food Christmas Taste Awards 2021.

Myles Mersh, Spar UK brand manager, said: “We are anticipating a family festive season this year and as a result we are encouraging Spar stores to engage with customers as early as possible to ensure they are front of mind when it is time to purchase.

“Our 2021 Christmas range covers a number of new incremental SKUs and a wide range of customer missions over the festive period, including meal trimmings, antipasti, party food, food to go, dips, confectionery, desserts and more.”

Spar will support the launch of its Christmas range with in-store and digital PoS.
