Spar is helping its retailers make sweet sales this Christmas by revamping its small bag confectionery range and relaunching its Christmas products.
Available from October 24, the brand’s Christmas range includes Santa Claus 150g, Milk Chocolate Gold Coins and Chocolate Medallions, RRP £1.50, 75p and 50p respectively.
Spar estimates that its retailers can make £335,000 from the lines.
Eight new flavours are also joining its small bag confectionery range this month, following sales of its £1 sharing confectionery range reaching £4m a year.
The eight price-marked flavours are free from artificial colours and flavours and will have an RRP of 45p or three for £1.
The range now contains Bubblegum Mushrooms, Build a Burger, Chocolate Raisins, Marshmallows, Shrimps & Bananas, Strawberry Milkshake Bottles, Jelly Beans and Watermelon Sours.
The launch will be backed by social media activity and PoS will be available for retailers.
Spar is also launching Chocolate Pic & Mix in £1 PMPs, which contains chocolate-coated honeycomb, biscuit and chocolate ovals.
Susan Darbyshire, SPAR UK Brand Director, said: “With the launch of these new lines, our retailers have a fantastic chance to boost sales ahead of Halloween and Christmas.”
