Spar launches ’12 deals of Christmas’ promotion

Spar has unveiled details of its seasonal activity.

The retailer revealed it will be running a ‘12 deals of Christmas promotion’, which will begin October 1 and run until Christmas Eve.

Each week will feature a different deals from suppliers such as KP Snacks, PepsiCo, Britvic Soft Drinks, P&G and AB InBev, as well as the Spar Brand. The deals will be promoted on Spar Radio, local leaflets, digital activity and PoS.

In addition, Spar is extending its evening meals range with two new premium hand stretched sourdough pizzas.

SunBlush Tomato, Italian Mozzarella & Basil Pesto and Italian Salami, Smoky Provolone Cheese & Caramelised Red Onion Chutney are available from October, RRP £4, or two-for-£7 on promotion.

Carrying on the Italian theme, Spar is also adding three new Italian and traditional ready meals to its range. Spinach & Ricotta Cannelloni, Spaghetti Carbonara and Slow Cooked Beef with Root Vegetable Mash will be price-marked at ‘any two-for-£5’.

The Spar Brand is also launching two prepared mash products, Creamy Mashed Potato and Carrot & Swede Mash, as well as a range of meal accompaniments that includes Onion Bhajis, Vegetable Spring Rolls and Vegetable Samosas.
