With Costa reporting a 43% increase in iced drinks sales year on year, SnowShock is now bringing the trend to convenience stores with its Frappino machines.
The machines come in two or three drum formats in six litres or 12 litres. Prices range from £1,645+VAT to £2,497+VAT and come with free stock.
The bigger units can create four different flavoured ice drinks, coffee, mocha, chocolate and smoothie. The flavours come from real coffee, cocoa and fruit with no artificial ingredients.
Peter Campbell, SnowShock managing director, said early customer feedback has been positive and customers are selling more than they thought that they would.
“With the huge advertising budgets of the chains behind iced drinks our customers can ride along with it as they grow consumer demand for us,” he added.
