Payzone tops 24,000 partnered stores

Payzone has signed up 2,300 independent retailers since the start of the year, while doubling the number of average transactions per site.

Referencing new exclusive payments agreements with British Gas, Scottish Power and Jersey Electric, Payzone managing director Andrew Goddard said: “The contract wins highlight Payzone’s strengthened offering.”

The additional sites bring Payzone’s partnered store count to 24,000, narrowing the gap between the firm and its larger rival PayPoint to 2,800 sites, according to both companies’ latest numbers.
