Royal Agio cigars joins Scandinavian Tobacco Group’s range following acquisition completion

Scandinavian Tobacco Group has announced the Royal Agio cigar brands will be joining its existing range from 1 April following the completion of its acquisition of the company last year.

Royal Agio’s range includes Mehari’s, Panter and Balmoral cigars, with Mehari’s Red Orient the thirteenth-biggest cigar brand in the UK, the supplier has said.

STG will have access to Royal Agio’s cigar range, with the acquisition securing positions in France, Belgium and the Netherlands and significantly improving its position in other key cigar markets, such as Spain and Italy.
