Ritmeester extends into RYO category

Exclusively for convenience stores, cigar manufacturer Ritmeester is extending into the roll your own category with Bentley Hand Rolling Tobacco.

The value Virginia tobacco RYO will be available from Booker later this month in 12.5g and 25g packs, RRP £4.19 and £7.99 respectively. Price-marked packs are also available at the RRP.

Andy Swain, national sales manager for Ritmeester, told Retail Express that with the growth of the discounters, consumers now realise they can get the same quality they expect from brands but at a lower price.

“Bentley is placed to capitalise on this trend. It is great value compared to the market leaders and it is of the highest quality to ensure customers will come back for more,” he added.
