Rap duo Krept & Konan have opened a supermarket in South London tailored to meet the diverse needs of the local black, Asian and ethnic communities, with a focus on premium halal products and world foods.
Saveways is a two floor, 15,000 sq ft supermarket in Croydon that houses poultry and halal meat counters, a fresh bakery area, as well as tinned, ambient, chilled, household, and cosmetic products sections.

It also caters for delivery platforms such as Just Eat and Deliveroo, and offers a click & collect service as well as online ordering.
Part-owner and one half of the rap duo Casyo Johnson said: “Saveways is more than just a supermarket, it’s a hub for the community, celebrating cultural diversity while setting a new standard for halal and world food retailing in the UK. The combination of scale, variety, quality, and modern convenience makes Saveways a landmark destination for both everyday shoppers and bulk buyers alike.”
