PepsiCo has announced the return of Quavers Prawn Cocktail and Quavers Salt & Vinegar to help retailers meet shopper demand for more flavour varieties.
The flavours are available now in single-serve formats (RRP 65p), grab bags (RRP 85p), £1 price-marked packs, and six-pack multipacks (RRP £1.50) to suit different customer missions.
The launch will be supported with a marketing campaign, starting from 15 January and will run until the end of March. The campaign will include in-store marketing, digital and TV campaigns.
PepsiCo partners with KFC to launch two new Walkers Max flavours
Will Robinson, lead for Walkers snacks at PepsiCo, said: “Consumers were crying out for us to bring them back via formal petitions and social media pleas. Quavers Prawn Cocktail and Quavers Salt & Vinegar were originally launched in the 90s and both flavours will be available across all channels.
“Quavers has only been available in cheese flavours for a long time, yet 95% of shoppers in this segment buy more than one flavour each year and 56% buy six or more, so we know that ‘flavour choice’ is important to shoppers.”
