Purdey’s is targeting on-the-go shoppers with 250ml cans for its Rejuvenate and Edge varieties.
The drinks are exempt from the upcoming sugar levy and are free from artificial ingredients. A £1.19 price-marked pack will be available exclusively to independent retailers.
Kevin McNair, Britvic marketing director, said the drinks will appeal to busy consumers and tap into the trend for healthier choices.
“The new cans will help retailers tap into this huge opportunity by providing a format for every drinking occasion,” he added.
The company is urging retailers to merchandise the cans next to energy drinks.
