Propercorn is extending its range of gluten-free popcorn with a new flavour, Smooth Peanut & Almond.
The new flavour is available in single serve and sharing packs, RRP 90p and £1.69 respectively.
The Propercorn range will be backed by in-store activity and consumer press advertising in 2016 to coincide with the trends towards health that come with the New Year.
Retailers can promote the range in store with PoS such as free-standing display units, counter-top display units, shelf talkers, wobblers and shelf edge strips featuring the patterns from the packs.
The new flavour is appealing to health conscious shoppers by using a process that squeezes out 88% of the oils found in roasted nuts to reduce the calorie count on each pack.
Ryan Kohn, Propercorn co-founder, said healthier snacks like popcorn are now the fastest growing lines within the crisps, snacks and nuts category.
“Convenience has been a massive area of growth for us this year and will be a big focus for Propercorn in 2016,” he added.
