Self-serve milkshake brand f’real has unveiled a new Salted Caramel flavour.
The eighth milkshake flavour from f’real to be released in the UK will be available to stockists from 31 May.
Retailers rejected by f’real for failing to meet “key criteria”
It follows on from the flavour’s popularity in the USA, and will be supported by a social media campaign and POS and assets for retailers.
According to the supplier, the caramel ingredients market is on track to hit 7% growth this year since 2019. Meanwhile, f’real machines have been installed in more than 1,200 stores across the UK, seeing an average of two retailers installing one each day. The brand saw a rate of sale increase of 12% in 2020.

Isla Owen, senior marketing manager at f’real, said: “We’ve spent a lot of time in research and development to pick the perfect addition to our range, with Salted Caramel coming out as one of the topmost requested. We’re confident the new flavour will see f’real machines across the country in overdrive this summer, with our retailer customers enjoying fantastic cup sales as a result.”
f’real has also said it will be rolling out additional flavours over the next 12-18 months.
