Sharwood’s marks National Curry Week with wholesaler tour

Premier Foods is celebrating National Curry Week this year by taking its Sharwood’s brand on a national wholesaler roadshow.

A Sharwood’s branded van will be open at wholesalers serving products made by Premier Foods’ chefs.

It will be at the following locations:

• Bestway, Park Royal, London – 5 October
• Dhamecha, Wembley, London – 6 October
• Parfetts, Stockport – 7 October
• East End Foods, Lioncroft Wholesale Aston – 10 October
• Booker, Wellingborough – 11 October

Premier Foods launches Ambrosia ready-to-eat porridge pots

The van will serve the following dishes:

• Sharwood’s Balti with Tikka Marinated Chicken & Mixed Peppers
• Sharwood’s Tikka Masala with Aubergine, Potato & Baby Spinach (V)
• Sharwood’s Korma with Fried Panner, Chickpeas & Coriander (V)
• Sharwood’s Mini Naan Breads (V)
• Sharwood’s RTE Poppadoms (V)
• Sharwood’s Mango Chutney (V)
• Basmati Rice (V)

Courtney Lewis, customer director for independent convenience and wholesale at Premier Foods, said: “With more and more people cooking at home, there is a real opportunity for the cooking sauces category as these products allow consumers to create quick and easy delicious meals.
