Rowntree’s launches non-HFSS gummy sweet range

Nestlé has launched a non-HFSS range of Rowntree’s gummy sweets.

The range, which consists of Berry Hearts, Safari Mix, Gummy Bears and Jelly Snakes, is made with real fruit juice and 30% less sugar than other Rowntree’s products, and has no artificial flavourings, colourings or sweeteners.

It also contains soluble corn fibre, which increases its corn fibre compared to traditional sugar confectionery.

Berry Hearts, Safari Mix and Gummy Bears will be available in wholesalers later this year at an RRP of £1.35 following an initial supermarket launch.

Jelly Snakes will be available exclusively at Tesco from March. The supplier is also expanding Jelly Tots Tropical Tots nationwide after a successful exclusive run in Tesco.
