Philip Morris has announced its business will restructure to help retailers make more from smoke-free products and e-cigarettes.
From July, Nicocigs’ sales team, marketing and supply chain will be fully integrated into the Philip Morris business.
The restructure aims to drive availability of the company’s e-cig brands, like Vivid and Nicocig, as well as prepare for national roll out of its heated tobacco product Iqos.
Peter Nixon, Philip Morris UK and Ireland managing director, said the move would help the company achieve its objective of creating a smoke-free future.
“Bringing all our operations together enables us to increase our focus on driving adoption of alternatives to smoking,” he added.
