Personalise printing to maximise revenue

Store owners can grow sales and footfall by investing in personalised printing, according to Rob Brown, head of graphic arts and printing at OKI.

The company provides kiosks that allow services such as custom card and fabric printing to be offered in store. Brown told RN that demand for personalised products is set to grow 20% by 2022.

“It allows you to apply a personalised gift message to say a bottle of wine, a bottle of gin, a box of chocolates or a greetings card and give it added value that no-one nearby can offer,” he said.

A “small entry level system” costs around £2-£2.5k outright or lease-hire arrangements are also possible.
