PepsiCo debuts new TV advert for Walkers

PepsiCo’s new ‘Regional Flavours’ TV advert for its Walkers brand celebrates the crisps’ unusual flavours, and the regions in which they’re loved.

PepsiCo’s new ‘Regional Flavours’ TV advert for its Walkers brand celebrates the crisps’ unusual flavours, and the regions in which they’re loved.

The advert, narrated by ex-footballer and brand ambassador Gary Linekar, continues to mark Walkers’ 70th anniversary, and offers shoppers a chance of winning £5,000.

Andrew Hawkswell, marketing manager at PepsiCo, said:  “The storyline behind the advert highlights four of the six regions who particularly love certain flavours: Pickled Onion, Smoky Bacon, Marmite and Beef & Onion.”

Following the campaign launch in July, the flavours have also undergone a pack design makeover to put emphasis on their regional credentials, as well as promoting an on-pack promotion to further increase sales.

The regional flavours campaign is also being supported by a marketing campaign, including digital and in-store advertising, from this month onward.
