PayPoint has unveiled a new service available on its PayPoint One platform, as well as a free mobile app to help retailers manage their stores.
EPoS Pro offers retailers ordering and news management tools and allows retailers to keep track of their waste and accounts.
It is available for £30 a week and builds on two previous levels, which are called Base and Core. Base provides cash register functions and Core offers more basic EPoS services than Pro.
The mobile app allows retailers to update prices, track their sales, print labels, view stock management, analyse top sellers and check promotions from outside the store.
Lewis Alcraft, PayPoint commercial director, said the technology would give retailers access to more data about their business and allow them to effectively compete with multiples.
“Retailers should not have to second guess where their business is going to be in five years,” he added.
There are 6,700 PayPoint One terminals sited and the company aims to site 8,000 by March 31. EPoS Pro and the mobile app will be available to retailers in 2018.
