PayPoint is to up its weekly service fee to help cover the costs of improved services, equating to annual increases of £26.52 to £88.32 for retailers.
The 4.9% rises, which vary depending on the store’s EPoS system, were outlined in a letter sent to retailers, seen by Better Retailing. Coming into force from April, the changes will be:
In the letter, PayPoint customer experience director Ben Ford said: “We all recognise the importance and impact of doing business face to face, which is why we made positive changes two years ago in how we deploy our field team, dedicating two thirds of our people to significantly increase the number of visits we make and to help you make the most of these new opportunities in your store.
“Working in partnership on these new opportunities will ensure that you reap the rewards and improve earnings into your business, so it’s incredibly important that you work with us to maximise commission opportunities, drive satisfied consumers and repeat footfall.”
