Parfetts has named Duncan Jelfs as its regional business manager as part of its expansion in the South West of England.
The move is intended to mark a significant step in strengthening Parfetts’ symbol presence, which includes Go Local, Go Local Extra, The Local and Shop & Go, in the area.
Jelfs brings 38 years’ experience in the retail and wholesale sector to the role, and most recently held a position of commercial director at Appleby Westward-Spar. He has also been head of franchise at Bestway Retail, managing accounts of Bargain Booze, Co-op Franchise, and Costcutter.

Jelfs said: “I have always thoroughly enjoyed working with independent retailers to help develop their stores, sales, and profit. I look forward to continuing this passion with Parfetts and building our presence in the South West.
