Sports nutrition brand Optimum Nutrition has partnered with Unitas Wholesale to encourage retailers to invest into the growing protein category.
Optimum Nutrition is part of the Glanbia Performance Nutrition range of brands, which includes BSN and Nutramino.
How independent retailers can capitalise on their protein range
High protein snacks grew by 40% this year alone, and through the Unitas channel, including its Plan for Profit platform, convenience retailers will have access to information and advice on how to drive additional profit from the category.
Some of its range includes Optimum Bar (£2.29), Protein Crisp Bar (£2.29), Nutra-Go Low Sugar Protein Wafer (£1.79) and new BSN Protein Bar (£1.49), which are all available through Unitas Wholesale channels, including Dhamecha from mid-December.
