Nisa has rebranded its own-label Heritage range to bring it in line with the new Food Information for Consumers Regulation.
All new-world Heritage products, including Heritage Pantry, Heritage and Heritage Gourmet have undergone rigorous label changes.
The FIR requires allergens to be emphasised within the ingredient declaration, a minimum font size of 1.2mm and the country or origin provided on raw meat and poultry.
Ian Bishop, Nisa marketing director, said that by September next year they plan to have majority of their products relaunched with newly designed packaging.
“Our aim is for our consumers to have an easy, enjoyable shopping experience and to enable them to know everything they need to know,” he added.
