Nisa retailers in Yorkshire have raised £4,270 for Sunshine and Smiles, a Leeds-based charity supporting children and young people with Down syndrome.
The donations were made through Nisa’s Making a Difference Locally (MADL) charity by several retailers, including Manpreet Singh Grewal, Nikul Patel, Amit Patel, Aman Barhgota, Aaron Singh Barhgota, Bhavesh Odedra, and Yathursan Sabaratnam.
Founded in 2011, Sunshine and Smiles is the only Down syndrome support network in Leeds. The donation, made in celebration of World Down Syndrome Day on 21 March, will help the charity continue its work within the community.
