Scottish retailer Zahid Mukhtar has relaunched two stores under Avens Retail, a convenience store chain based in Fife, Scotland. Avens Retail operates as part of the Nisa network.
The new stores are located in Ballingry and Kirkcaldy, both towns in Fife.
Operating under the Avens brand, the stores aim to reflect its focus on locally-sourced products and regional partnerships. Partnered with more than 95 suppliers, Avens has expanded its product selection to more than 4,000 items, focusing on fresh produce, quality meats, and bakery options.
The stores feature a range of Co-op own-brand products, which come from Avens’ collaboration with Nisa.

The openings were attended by MSP David Torrance and retired Scottish footballer Ally Mitchell.
