Nisa is to reduce the availability and delivery options of its sandwich, pasta and salad range for smaller stores.

In a message sent to retailers, and seen by Better Retailing, the wholesaler said stores who meet a minimum order requirement of 90 or more a week will be able to order Co-op sandwiches, pasta and salad pots directly from supplier Greencore. These will also be available in single pick.

However, stores unable to meet this threshold can only order sandwiches in packs of four directly from Nisa, while the range will be “reduced, focusing on bestsellers and simplifying the food-to-go offering”.

A Nisa spokesperson told Better Retailing: “The choice for all partners remains expansive and includes all bestsellers in the range.”
