Nisa retailers have reported an 8% growth in sales since the introduction of fresh food workshops earlier this year.
The Best in Fresh workshops aim to increase footfall and sales by offering training and advice on developing fresh food. Members who attended one of the workshops between July and September have seen an 8% increase in the category.
Victoria Lockie, head of support and shared services for Nisa, said: “The workshop also provides attendees with a number of initiatives, including 10% off online learning through the retail academy and 15% discount on selected data equipment.”
More than 200 retailers have taken part in the workshops since they launched at the end of 2014.
