Nisa aims to drive shoppers into stores with return of its Wine Festival

Nisa has kicked off its Wine Festival for this year to help independent retailers drive their wine sales throughout September.

Nisa has kicked off its Wine Festival for 2017 to help independent retailers drive sales throughout September.

The festival will begin on September 11 and run through to October 1. For retailers taking part, a variety of white, red, rosé and sparkling wines will be on promotion, supported by themed PoS, including a gondola end kit featuring tasting notes and food pairing notes.

The symbol group will also run ads on its social media channels, on the Nisa FM radio network in stores and on consumer leaflets to drive shoppers into stores. A dedicated Wine Festival website will include a bespoke wine selector, where consumers can enter their occasion and preferred wine type to find their perfect wine match and be in with a chance of winning a bottle.

“Following on from the success of our previous Wine Festival events, we are confident that this event will again support our members with a competitive offer and help them to drive sales with some fantastic deals on a wide range of wines,” said Asa Chamberlain, Nisa business manager for licensed.

The launch of the festival follows successful initiatives in 2016, which generated a 66% increase in sales in April last year, and comes hot on the heels of Londis’s Wine Festival, which drove sales by 60% earlier in the summer.

The wines on promotion
Heritage 75cl wines, £3.99
I Heart Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 75cl, £6.99
Selected Echo Falls 75cl, £5.49
Selected Blossom Hill 75cl, £5.49.
