InPost Newstrade has become the newest corporate sponsor of NewstrAid, a charity which supports people in the newspaper and magazine industry, including shop owners and staff.
This includes providing financial and emotional support to workers in the industry, with last year seeing more than 1500 people helped by NewstrAid.
NewstrAid CEO Neil Jagger made the announcement, adding: “The support of corporate sponsors like InPost Newstrade is invaluable to our work. The demand for our services continues to grow, and this sponsorship helps us extend our reach to even more individuals in need. We are incredibly grateful for InPost Newstrade’s commitment to supporting our work which helps hundreds of people facing hardship across the industry every year.”
Previously called Menzies Distribution, InPost Newstrade had a previous relationship with NewstrAid as a supporting organisation, but has now become a sponsor.
InPost Newstrade’s managing director Grant Jordan said: “InPost Newstrade are delighted to continue the relationship that has been in existence with Menzies Distribution for over 100 years, ensuring that those working in our industry, past and present, continue to receive the help they need.”
