NewstrAid has launched a video to help promote its role within the newspaper and magazine industry.
The animated film, less than 3 minutes long, includes information on who the charity helps, how it operates as a company, the financial and emotional support it provides, and gives insight into how others volunteer or fundraise for its mission.
Neil Jagger, CEO for NewstrAid, said: “We are constantly striving to ensure that everyone working in the sale and distribution of newspapers and magazines knows the name NewstrAid and what we represent. That way, we can be sure that if and when help is needed, as many people as possible know where to turn.
“This film really does cover everything you need to know in a nutshell and we hope it will give industry colleagues, old and new, a better understanding of what NewstrAid is all about.”
The clip can be viewed on the homepage of the NewstrAid website, officially launched on the charity’s ‘Woolly Wednesday’ awareness day earlier this month, which highlighted the help available to those struggling to stay warm and pay their bills this winter.
