The report published by advertising media group GroupM also said ratio spent on print media will continue to fall into 2020.
News brands and magazines will make up 9.3% of spend in 2019. In 2018, the figure was 10.3%, and 17% in 2015. Overall advertising spend in the UK will rise by 61% to £21.8bn by the end of 2019, offsetting some of the market share decline.
