Booker has relaunched its Happy Shopper crisps and own-label snacks range, promising retailers increased margins of 2%.
The range was made available to Londis retailers at the end of last month and contains 13 products, including Burger Bites, Salt & Vinegar Sticks, Toffee Popcorn and Prawn Crackers.
As part of the relaunch, Booker has increased RRPs from 59p to 65p, but a two-for-£1 promotion remains. Following retailer feedback, packaging has been redesigned to highlight the value of the Happy Shopper crisps and snacks range, and each case ordered includes two additional packs.
Raaj Chandarana, of Tara’s Londis in High Wycombe, Bucks, said: “Booker is bringing in more range, which is good. There’s not much brand loyalty with products and anything that provides us with more margin is welcome.”
A Booker spokesperson said: “We have also added Happy Shopper BBQ Hoops and Sweet & Salted Popcorn. We’re confident these improvements will drive sales and profits for our customers.”
