Adelie Foods has scrapped its previous delivery model after admitting it was “inefficient”.
Nisa confirmed the changes to its retailers in an internal message sent last week, saying Adelie will now only accept firm sale orders of at least £50.
Adelie Foods head of category marketing Wayne Greensmith said: “Previously, we charged for delivery through the price of the unit, delivering thousands of small orders every day, which was very often inefficient.
“We have introduced a fixed minimum order quantity, which gives our customers the opportunity to manage their orders through flexing the frequency of their deliveries.”
