Supermarket giant Tesco has been fined £115,000 after one of its staff lost five toes in a horrific accident. Shelf-stacker Mohammed Ferdous’ foot became trapped in a faulty lift in the accident in a store in Victoria, central London. He had already received an out-of-court settlement in a civil claim against the retailer.
