Nestlé’s new Christmas range revealed

Nestlé Confectionery is helping retailers drive impulse sales by extending its seasonal singles range for Christmas 2018.

Nestlé Confectionery is helping retailers drive impulse sales by extending its seasonal singles range for Christmas 2018.

Nestle-stat-1.pngThe company’s Milkybar Polar Bear will be joined by three new designs – a snowman, a seal and a snowy owl – while its Smarties Penguin will sit next to new Rudolph, Robin and Santa designs, RRP 65p.

An outer of Milkybar or Smarties Winter Friends will contain all four designs. The size of outers has also been reduced by 12%, so retailers can fit a whole one on the fixture.

Nestlé is also revamping its Quality Street 720g tubs with more chocolate sweets and fewer toffees and cremes. The line grew by 11% last year.

This year, there will also be a new advent calendar available under the Quality Street brand, RRP £5. The calendar segment has grown by 45% over the past five years, with premium advent sales trebling.

Following the launch of KitKat Senses earlier this year, Nestlé Confectionery is launching two seasonal packs.

A Christmas tree-shaped pack contains 24 chocolates, while a second pack can be used as a stocking filler or tree decoration and contains five chocolates, RRP £4.99 and £1.49 respectively.

The company is also launching Dairy Box Temptations and Black Magic Temptations, RRP £1, which are aimed at shoppers buying a token gift.
