Nestlé Cereals has launched Shreddies The Honey One, a new breakfast cereal that it says is non-high in fat, salt or sugar (non-HFSS).
According to the suppliers, honey-flavoured cereals have seen an increase in value sales of 14.5% since 2019, making honey-flavoured cereals the second-most popular flavour segment in the ready-to-eat cereal category.
Nestlé launches limited-edition Caramelised Biscuit KitKat variety
Its launch takes the number of Nestlé Cereals brands that are non-HFSS up to 24. Nestlé claims to have removed an estimated 59 million teaspoons of sugar and 3 milion teaspoons of salt from its products since 2003.
