Neil Turton has resigned as Sugro managing director and will depart the business on 1 May after a three-month notice period.
Turton joined the wholesaler buying group in September 2018 and oversaw the reshaping of the organisation, the introduction of a new senior management team and company growth of 7% last year.
“The organisation is in a good place and I’m not going to any other role. It was my choice to leave but it’s all very amicable,” he said.

A statement from Sugro said: “The board of Sugro has accepted the resignation of MD, Neil Turton. Sugro wishes to thank Neil for his work as MD. Equally Neil thanks the board for the opportunity to serve as Sugro’s MD for the past 18 months.”
Turton previously spent 23 years with Nisa before departing in March 2015.
