Musgrave retailers are to receive electronic shelfedge labels, reducing the time taken to alter prices on the shop floor.
The labels will be rolled out across SuperValu and Centra stores in Northern Ireland (NI), and will enable pricing and promotions to be updated from one location.

Musgrave NI head of IT Michael Devlin said: “By automating the pricing process, time is freed up to work on activities such as merchandising, replenishing stock and assisting shoppers, along with improving staff satisfaction as more time is spent on the shop floor rather than in the back office for price and promotional changeovers.
“As the prices are updated instantly, ensuring the price displayed on the shelf is always the same as at the till, we can further increase customer satisfaction and confidence.”
