The MPs are calling for the age of sale on cigarettes to rise from 18 to 21 by 2030. They hope by raising the age, it will reduce the amount of young people smoking. The group also wants to put increased health warnings on cigarettes.

In a report published on 9 June by the APPG, it recommended to implement a legislation to make tobacco manufacturers pay for a Smokefree 2030 Fund to bring an end to smoking.
