Motor Fuel Group to install 300 laundry machines in forecourts

Motor Fuel Group has partnered with a launderette service company

Forecourt operator Motor Fuel Group (MFG) has signed up to install 300 ME Group self-serve laundry machines in its sites over the next five years.

These machines give consumers access to self-service, large-capacity (9kg and 20kg drums), energy-efficient, high-speed washing and drying laundry services, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

ME Group currently operates more than 1,460 Wash.ME Revolution laundry machines across the UK and Republic of Ireland and 5,959 machines globally and it is expanding operations in high footfall locations.

Vladimir Crasneanscki, head of UK commercial operations and head of investor relations at ME Group, said: “We are very excited to be working with MFG, which has more than 1,200 sites across the UK. This partnership is a reflection of the exceptional demand we are seeing for our Wash.ME Revolution laundry services and we are delighted to be partnering with the largest independent forecourt operator in the UK.

“MFG is a fantastic partner for our Wash.ME Revolution laundry services due to their focus on providing convenient retail and service options to their customers. There is a significant opportunity for our Wash.ME Revolution machines across the UK and this partnership is indicative of our intent for the UK market and allows for rapid progress in geographic expansion across the UK.”

MFG’s trading director, Anna Roddis, said: “We are delighted to announce this partnership for up to 300 machines across our UK sites. At MFG, we want to ensure that we have unique and convenient services available to our customers. Collaborating with ME Group allows us to enhance our service offering and caters to a growing demand we see in the market.”
